Nobody knows what's going on in your head. You are totally free to be totally free. Surrender thinking you need to protect your ego. Ego is merely a concept with no permanent substantiality. As long as there is one to suffer, he or she will. The word Buddha comes from the Sanskrit word Bodhi, which means "awake". It means being conscious of your consciousness. And Buddhahood is the ultimate realization of that One Mind, beyond any illusion or desire that thinks you need anything to be complete. On complete & ultimate enlightenment the Buddha gained nothing. He merely awakened to the realization of Mind/ Nirvana.
