I enjoyed a wonderful Live Earth party last night. Hopefully people will realize the incredible import of our global situation, and start taking positive action. Marshall McLuhan onced asked the question, "Who discovered water?" He said he didn't know, but he knew it wasn't the fish. The fish are totally engulfed in it, so don't noticed it. Similarly, we are so engulfed in our own awareness, that most people aren't even aware of it. They don't realize that ultimately, our awareness is all there is. We are aware of the world "out there" as an inner experience in our own mind. Take away your mind, and the world disappears. So start to try to be as conscious as possible, and you won't get sucked into weird places because of your unawareness. Let go, and go with the flow.
